Big foot beats down Fedor, Silva won via TKO

Fedor Emelianenko, who was the crowd favorite on the first quarter-final match of World Grand Prix Heavyweight tourney by Strikeforce, suffered another legitimate loss via TKO against Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva.


Silva forced the TKO via doctor stoppage against the Russian legend heavyweight fighter on Saturday main event at the IZOD Center.

It was a close round 1 fight when Silva performed his rear naked choke and later triangle choke that nearly finished Fedor.
At round 2, Silva dominated as he unleashed combination of hammer fists that  ultimately made Fedor's right eye swollen shut. The end comes in between round 2 and 3 after the ringside doctor called to stop the fight. The doctor stated that Fedor could not see and they would not let him to continue.

In his post fight interview, Fedor implied about his possible retirement.
